From March 19th to March 20th, 2025, at Binh Minh Hotel, the Binh Thuan Province’s Union of Science and Technology Associations coordinated with the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA) and the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam (DAV) to organize the Workshop and Training course on People’s Foreign Affairs. The event attracted the participation of delegates inside and outside Binh Thuan Province. As for Binh Thuan College (BTC), there was MSc. Nguyen Huu Ich – BTC’s Vice Principal and staff.

The event was opened by the Workshop on Promoting Cooperation and Sharing Experiences in People’s Foreign Affairs, in which the VUSTA’s representative shared contents of the situation and results of people’s foreign affairs and international cooperation activities of VUSTA in general and Binh Thuan in particular. Next, MA. Tran Nam Binh – Deputy Head of Foreign Service Training Center under DAV shared and discussed with delegates issues relating to the role of people/social/non-governmental organizations in the region and the world towards people’s foreign affairs. Delegates expressed their interests to this activity and asked a lot of practical questions in order to find solutions to improve the effectiveness of people’s foreign affairs activities of their offices.

The Workshop was followed by the Training program titled “People’s Foreign Knowledge and Skills Fostering” including three lectures delivered by DAV’s cadres and Associate Prof., PhD. Dang Dinh Quy – Former Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Former Ambassador, Head of the Permanent Mission of Vietnam to the United Nations. In addition to providing important knowledge and skills of foreign affairs/diplomacy, speakers shared interesting stories about work reality as well as provided participants with an overview and update on the world/regional situation relating to prominent issues of the current international relations.

The Workshop and Training course on People’s Foreign Affairs was a truly precious opportunity for BTC’s staff to expand their knowledge and skills in the field of foreign affairs and international cooperation helping to do their tasks better and better./.

Hội thảo - Tập huấn về Công tác đối ngoại nhân dân
Từ ngày 19/3 đến 20/3/2025, tại Khách sạn Bình Minh, Liên hiệp các Hội KH&KT (gọi tắt là LHH) Bình Thuận phối hợp với Liên hiệp các Hội KH&KT Việt Nam và Học viện Ngoại giao tổ chức Hội thảo - Tập huấn về Công tác đối ngoại nhân dân. Sự kiện quy tụ sự tham gia của các đại biểu trong và ngoài tỉnh Bình Thuận. Về phía Trường Cao đẳng Bình Thuận, có sự tham dự của ThS. Nguyễn Hữu Ích_Phó Hiệu trưởng và các viên chức của Trường.
Sự kiện mở đầu với Hội thảo: “Xúc tiến hợp tác và chia sẻ kinh nghiệm hoạt động đối ngoại nhân dân”; trong đó, đại diện phía LHH đã chia sẻ các nội dung về tình hình cũng như kết quả hoạt động đối ngoại nhân dân và hợp tác quốc tế của LHH Việt Nam nói chung và LHH Bình Thuận nói riêng trong thời gian qua. Tiếp đó, ThS. Trần Nam Bình_Phó trưởng ban Đào tạo, bồi dưỡng cán bộ đối ngoại, Học viện Ngoại giao đã cùng chia sẻ và thảo luận với các đại biểu những vấn đề liên quan đến vai trò của các tổ chức nhân dân/xã hội/phi chính phủ tại khu vực và thế giới trong hoạt động đối ngoại nhân dân. Các đại biểu đã bày tỏ sự quan tâm đến hoạt động này và đặt nhiều câu hỏi thiết thực nhằm tìm ra giải pháp giúp nâng cao hoạt động đối ngoại nhân dân tại cơ quan, đơn vị.
Sau Hội thảo là Chương trình tập huấn “Bồi dưỡng kiến thức, kỹ năng đối ngoại nhân dân” gồm 03 chuyên đề được giảng dạy bởi các cán bộ đang công tác tại Học viện ngoại giao và PGS.TS Đặng Đình Quý_Nguyên Thứ trưởng Bộ ngoại giao, Nguyên Đại sứ, Trưởng phái đoàn đại diện thường trực Việt Nam tại Liên Hợp quốc. Bên cạnh việc cung cấp các kiến thức và kỹ năng quan trọng về công tác đối ngoại/ngoại giao, các báo cáo viên đã chia sẻ những câu chuyện thú vị xoay quanh thực tiễn công việc cũng như giúp các cá nhân tham gia tập huấn có cái nhìn tổng quan và cập nhật về tình hình thế giới/khu vực gắn với các vấn đề nổi bật trong quan hệ quốc tế hiện nay.
Hội thảo - Tập huấn về Công tác đối ngoại nhân dân thực sự là cơ hội quý báu để các cán bộ, giảng viên nhà trường mở rộng kiến thức và kỹ năng trên lĩnh vực đối ngoại và hợp tác quốc tế, góp phần thực hiện công việc ngày càng tốt hơn./.
