On the afternoon of January 12, 2026, Asia Society for Social Improvement and Sustainable Transformation Inc (ASSIST) conducted a working visit to Binh Thuan College (Campus 1), following an online meeting between the two sides on November 18, 2025.
Attending the meeting with ASSIST were Dr. Do Huy Son – President of the College, M.Sc. Truong Van Chinh – Vice President, together with leaders and staff of the Scientific Research and International Collaboration Department, the Academic Affairs Department, and the Faculty of Engineering.

At the meeting, Mr. Arumugaraj Davitdurai Pandian – Mekong Regional Director of ASSIST, presented key contents and requirements related to the College’s enrollment scale under the framework of the Center of Excellence (CoE) Project, provided information on sponsored equipment packages, and expressed his expectation that the project would soon be implemented at the College. He also emphasized ASSIST’s accompanying role in supporting the College’s lecturers in enhancing professional capacity and improving the effectiveness of teaching relevant training modules upon approval of the project.
Through the discussion, the College Management Board and unit leaders expressed interest in and highly appreciated the project’s practical value for the College’s training activities. Subsequently, Dr. Do Huy Son stated high agreement with the matters discussed by the two sides, and affirmed that the College would consider and select suitable equipment packages, and would soon give a response to ASSIST.
Following the meeting, the ASSIST delegation and the College’s lecturers conducted a site visit to the electrical practice laboratories of the Faculty of Engineering to assess facilities and training capacity, serving as a basis for effective project implementation in the coming period.

The working session laid a foundation for further coordination and exchange, as well as for reaching consensus on cooperation directions regarding the Center of Excellence (CoE) Project, thereby contributing to the improvement of training quality and the development of human resources aligned with current trends and practical needs.

TỔ CHỨC ASIA SOCIETY FOR SOCIAL IMPROVEMENT AND SUSTAINABLE TRANSFORMATION INC (ASSIST) THĂM VÀ LÀM VIỆC TẠI TRƯỜNG CAO ĐẲNG BÌNH THUẬN
Chiều ngày 12/01/2026, Tổ chức Asia Society for Social Improvement and Sustainable Transformation Inc (ASSIST) đã có chuyến thăm và làm việc trực tiếp tại Trường Cao đẳng Bình Thuận (Cơ sở 1), tiếp nối buổi làm việc trực tuyến giữa hai bên vào ngày 18/11/2025.
Tham dự buổi tiếp và làm việc với Tổ chức ASSIST có TS. Đỗ Huy Sơn – Hiệu trưởng nhà trường, ThS. Trương Văn Chính – Phó Hiệu trưởng, cùng các lãnh đạo và chuyên viên Phòng NCKH&HTQT, Phòng Đào tạo và Khoa Kỹ Thuật.
Tại buổi làm việc, ông Arumugaraj Davitdurai Pandian – Giám đốc khu vực Mekong, Tổ chức ASSIST đã chia sẻ các nội dung, yêu cầu liên quan đến quy mô tuyển sinh của Nhà trường trong khuôn khổ Dự án Trung tâm đào tạo Xuất sắc (CoE), cung cấp thông tin về các gói trang thiết bị tài trợ và bày tỏ kỳ vọng dự án sẽ được sớm triển khai tại Trường. Bên cạnh đó, ông Arumugaraj Davitdurai Pandian cũng nhấn mạnh vai trò đồng hành của Tổ chức ASSIST trong việc tạo điều kiện cho giảng viên Trường nâng cao năng lực chuyên môn và tối đa hóa hiệu quả công tác giảng dạy các mô-đun đào tạo liên quan trong trường hợp Dự án được phê duyệt triển khai tại nhà trường.
Qua thảo luận, Ban Giám hiệu và lãnh đạo các đơn vị bày tỏ sự quan tâm và đánh giá cao đến tính thực tế mà dự án mang lại cho công tác đào tạo của nhà trường. Tiếp đó, TS. Đỗ Huy Sơn nhất trí cao với nội dung hai bên vừa thảo luận và khẳng định nhà trường sẽ xem xét, lựa chọn gói trang thiết bị phù hợp, đồng thời sớm thông tin đến Tổ chức ASSIST.
Ngay sau đó, đoàn công tác của Tổ chức ASSIST cùng các thầy, cô nhà trường đã tham quan các phòng thực hành điện của Khoa Kỹ thuật nhằm phục vụ công tác khảo sát thực tế, giúp hai bên trao đổi thông tin, đánh giá cơ sở vật chất và năng lực đào tạo, làm cơ sở cho việc phối hợp triển khai dự án hiệu quả trong thời gian tới.
Buổi làm việc là cơ sở để hai bên tiếp tục phối hợp trao đổi, thống nhất định hướng hợp tác liên quan đến Dự án Trung tâm đào tạo Xuất sắc (CoE) trong thời gian tới, qua đó góp phần nâng cao chất lượng đào tạo và phát triển nguồn nhân lực phù hợp với xu thế và nhu cầu thực tiễn.
